About this role We’re looking for a VP of Sales to lead our current team of driven directors and account executives to expand our partnerships with transportation departments, cities, and transit agencies around the world. You would develop and own company-wide sales strategy, drive revenue through new customer acquisition, build and grow the team, as well as unlock new sources of revenue. Our team highly values collaboration, humility, empathy for customers, and direct and honest feedback — as a path to team scalability and success. This is a leadership role that sits on the Executive Team and report directly to the CEO. We would support this role from headquarters in San Francisco, CA.

You’ll be a good fit if:

    • You are an empathetic leader, passionate about both building and executing a go-to-market model with a mission-driven team and customer base
    • You have 5-10+ years of senior management experience, selling solutions to complex enterprises — a plus if you’ve been the accountable revenue officer at a mid-stage SaaS company
    • You have software experience - verticals in government and/or transportation a plus
    • You’re comfortable in a startup environment, where sometimes you’re figuring out the playbook as you accelerate and operationalize growth
    • You’re disciplined in your deal stage management process in Salesforce while also being a holistic, systems thinker
    • You’re excited about coaching and growing people at all levels of their careers
    • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills - including listening and the ability to deliver meaningful and actionable feedback in all situations
