Finance Intern (m/f/d) for Aviation Engineering

Job Description

Role Summary:

This internship experience with Engineering Finance team is to support GE Aviation’s Finance Manager for Germany with external funding contracts, financial reports, FP&A analytics, cost management and ad hoc projects. The candidate will be exposed to the company's overall accounting process and how the data gets recorded into accounting system to financial statements.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare GL reports to and prepare cost overview for the Engineering Finance
  
• Collect project cost data serving the basis to arrange prepare the billing
  
• Consolidate projects financials to support team members with compliance reporting
  
• Be Responsible to consolidate cash receipts for projects and achieve cash overview
  
• Raise manual invoices for tax reporting
  
• Construct ad-hoc financial reports
  
• Participate in simplification projects to streamline finance processes
  

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Academic excellence
  
• Strong analytical skills
  
• Computer literate, good knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  
• Good interpersonal skills & written proficiency in English
