Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Services General - PRN, Day - Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital - Rochester,MI

PRN position

Tier 1 - $2/hour bonus 2 shifts per month

Tier 2 - $4/hour bonus 2 weekend shifts per month.

All PRN are required to work at least 1 weekend shift per month, 1 holiday proper per year and 1 holiday weekend shift per year.

Shifts available Monday through Sunday in both Acute and Inpatient Rehab departments.

What You Will Do

As an Associate with Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital, you will have the opportunity to evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.

Responsibilities:

• Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required Master's degree preferred
