This site is the integral manufacturing plant and R&D Center . It is the first smart factory in Thailand. It will enable us to respond to growing automobile production in Thailand and to serve international as well as local automotive customers on the spot. The supplier of technology and services is focusing heavily on connected manufacturing at the factory.

Manufacturing Plant: The Company is constructing its first plant of the manufacturing of gasoline injection systems in Thailand. It is capable of production 1 million fuel injector units every year. With the new fuel injector plant we are able to meet the increasing demand of our customers in the region.

R&D Center: The R&D office and laboratory are located on same site as production. In order to have dedicated laboratory accommodating automotive specific machine and equipment such as fuel testing benches and Noise, Vibration, Harshness chambers.

Job Description

Period: 6 months (starting in May 2020)

Functional Area: Technical Engineering Function (Specific Function Expert)

• Manage an industry 4.0 Project regarding tool maintenance and tool production
• Coordinate the basic set up of the overall system and develop an advanced solution including a data and process concept and support for implementation
• Analyze and implement improvement projects on the shop floor
• Self-consistently development of decision-making memos for project reviews
• Organize, implement and moderate meetings with international participants

Qualifications

Education:

• Eligible for internship by own university and currently taking Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, Information Systems or Related field

Languages:

• Fluent in English

Specifications:

• Previous working experience in the field of Process and Project Management, Database concepts and modelling as well as Industry 4.0 will be an advantage
• Independent and systematic way of working
• Team-minded & time-management skills
• Strong communication competencies
• Interested in getting intercultural contact with Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese colleagues
• International experience is an advantage
