This position will join our Materials Management and Logistics team as a Warehouse Manager. This person will manage the shipping and receiving function (both inbound and outbound) and all logistics activities (including 3PL providers) as required. This position will be based at our Tempe, AZ manufacturing facility and will report into the Sr. Warehouse Manager .


Requirements:


• Supervises all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Provides direct supervision to all warehouse personnel.
• Manages and trains personnel schedules over multiple shifts.
• Maintains excellent inventory accuracy through entire material flow process – receipt, storage and replenishment.
• Works daily with cross functional teams, including Procurement and Operations.
• Ensures the safe, clean and efficient operation of the warehouse to meet service standards.
• Analyzes and manages RMA material with appropriate metrics.
• Develops and implements shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments to assure effective and efficient operations.
• Makes recommendations on programs to improve warehouse operations.
• Directs the operations of the warehouse personnel to achieve prescribed objectives.
• Develops and maintains a productive staff by creating programs for hiring, training and professional development.
• Matches the skill and background of personnel to work required.
• Implements an appropriate performance evaluation system for recommending promotions, wage increases and termination.
• Ensures that equipment is utilized in the most efficient manner.
• Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with both inside and outside customers and ensure that all personnel do the same.
• Manages relationships with all transportation carriers.
• Maintain computerized warehouse management system
• Oversee inventory control by conducting physical counts and reconciling with warehouse management systems
• Daily manifest control


Experience, Education, and Training:


• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Minimum of 3-5 years of fulfillment management experience in a warehouse, inventory control, or production environment
• Excellent supervisory skills.
• Strong process improvement / continuous improvement skills.
• Strong inventory control experience.
• Computer applications using MS office
• Excellent knowledge of ERP and WMS systems, Oracle preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of materials flow, shipping and receiving functions (both inbound and out bound) in a fast moving environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, HAZMAT regulations and the willingness to become certified in one or more of these areas as necessary.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
