Are you a future leader at PDU Packet Core?

We are looking for a strong and passionate leader to join our team at PDG Mobility within PDU PC.

In Packet Core we are in the early phases of deploying a new operational model based on three dimensions in tight cooperation; business, technology and operations. As the System Owner you will be contributing to this transformation as you lead the technology dimension. You will be responsible for requirement fulfillment of the product, including architectural evolution, product performance and quality.

Together with the leaders of the business and operations dimensions you will lead the development of SGSN-MME.

The System Owner is responsible for:

• System integrity and quality fulfillment of the product over time including architecture, performance and functional evolution
• Setting quality requirements; acting and deciding on exemptions related to own product and relevant 2PP/3PP contained in the product deliverables
• Own the product’s technical debt and drive decisions to balance product improvements, time to market and business opportunities
• Set product maintenance strategies

You will report to the Head of PDG Mobility and be part of our leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Commission architecture studies to evolve, refactor, improve, simplify and accelerate the product’s evolution.
• Understand and drive actions to reduce cost of maintenance over time
• Own the product anatomy plan and oversee that it’s constantly updated in cooperation with technical leaders
• Act on customer quality escalations
• Initiate needed RCAs and push for implementation of improvements
• Understand and take action to improve quality trends
• Analyze feedback from Customer Operations after GA on total product level

Qualifications

• Experience in leading product development
• Leadership experience
• Strong technical competence in Packet Core area
• Solid experience in software development Agile, Lean and DevOps ways of working
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Can do attitude, strong result orientation and interest to work with change management across the organization
• Fluent in English
