Your Opportunity

Charles Schwab’s Technology Operational Solutions organization (TOS) is seeking a Sr. Staff - Data Design & CMDB Engineer. You will be responsible for coordination of CMDB data and CMDB integration related projects to efficiently drive CMDB data quality for the Technology Enterprise. Additionally you will meet with stakeholders to extract their requirements for the purpose of documenting and presenting solution proposals to both feed and extract the data into and from the CMDB. You will be responsible for reconciliation, normalization, synchronization jobs, and data integrations from discovery tools that ingest data into the CMDB. You will document functional and technical requirements for integration of the CMDB with external systems.

What you’re good at

• Extensive experience configuring and deploying BMC ITSM solutions
• Strong proficiency writing and customizing SQL queries to assist in data extraction
• Experience extracting, manipulating and exporting large data sets
• Self-starter with ability to work both as part of a team or independently
• Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of REST APIs and interfacing with them through code
• Scripting and/or application development experience for use in building automation and troubleshooting. (Python, javascript, java, golang, etc)
• Background in automation and a desire to provide hands off solutions with no manual data entry

What you have

• Experience owning or executing one or more ITIL processes; ITIL Service Asset and Configuration Management Process a plus
• Extensive Experience with Atrium Integrator
• Experience integrating BMC Atrium with external infrastructure provisioning systems
