IP DESIGN ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ericsson Austin is looking for an IP Design Engineers to join a growing world-class semiconductor development organization and to help drive excellence in our 5G network products.

As an IP Designer on our IP team, you will be a key contributor in building robust IP components that are the building blocks for subsystems, ASICs and SoCs that enable 5G communication. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and agile project environment as part of a scrum team, comprised of both RTL designers and DV engineers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent)
  • RTL design experience (3+ years)
  • Proficiency in System Verilog
  • Excellent debug skills, with experience debugging RTL in a block or chip-level environment
  • Experience with back-end design processes (e.g. gate-level simulation, Synthesis, STA, DFT, CTS)
  • General understanding of computer microarchitecture
  • Strong verbal and written technical communication skills

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Breadth in knowledge of high-speed communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet)
