Job Description

What you’ll be doing...

Support the development and rollout of National Transport guidance and detailed reporting in support of standardized OPEX controls and cost minimization. You will be responsible for understanding current operational procedures and developing plans to streamline best practices nationally increasing compliance, reducing risk, and increasing operational efficiency. A key component will be the development of a reporting to clearly identify areas of opportunity and for the communication of this data to Engineering and Leadership. You’ll act as an advocate for internal audit functions and act as a critical change agent by providing objective evaluations of our systems and processes.

  • Evaluate existing controls, identifying gaps and areas for improvement, and evaluating their significance and potential business impact.
  • Develop procedures and requirements to drive nationally scoped transport OPEX efficiencies.
  • Design and execute comprehensive audit plans that target areas requiring efficiency metric improvement.
  • Create reporting and develop Dashboards to drive inventory accuracy and minimizing risk.
  • SME for Transport inventory system(s) developing & documenting system best practices.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or six or more years of work experience.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, project management and time management skills.
  • Experience with risk and operational based audits.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, presentation, oral, and written communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Worked with Transport enterprise applications and tools – Granite, FUZE, Telco Billing Platforms, etc.
