What You'll Be Doing:

As a postdoctoral fellow in our company's Research Laboratories, you will work with a highly collaborative team of scientists at the Exploratory Science Center at Cambridge, MA to understand the role of the vasculature in mediating immune responses in a disease setting.

You will focus on characterizing vasculature and leucocyte endothelial interactions in health and disease.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Isolation & characterization of immune cell subsets from blood & tissues.
  • Designing & executing multi-parameter FACS panels, including single cell sorting.
  • Employing cellular and molecular biology to uncover underlying mechanisms.
  • Develop 3D in vitro assays on leucocyte infiltration.
  • Designing in-vivo models of cancer.

What You Bring:

  • Candidates must currently hold a PhD OR receive a PhD by fall. PhD in Immunology preferred.
  • Skills in one or more of the following areas: immunology; vascular biology; cancer
  • Experience working with innate & adaptive immune cells.
  • Experience in designing & executing multi-parameter FACS panels, including single cell sorting.
  • Experience in microscopy-based techniques.
  • Prior knowledge of the role of the vasculature in cancer

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Isolation & characterization of immune cell subsets from blood
  • Strong ability to develop novel in vitro assays
  • Strong history of publication in top-tier, peer-reviewed journals.
