SUMMARY

Hulu’s Business Enablement team is seeking an analytical, process-oriented Senior Manager who will be an outstanding addition to our New York-based Sales and Revenue Management team. This role will lead the technical projects that drive efficiency of sales and sales support teams across Hulu. Reporting to the Director of Business Enablement, the role will develop, run and execute plans to increase system automation, drive technical innovation and build processes supporting our Advanced TV (programmatic) and Self-Service (Hulu Ad Manager) product lines. The candidate will drive ongoing development and execution of Hulu’s automation strategy and work cross-functionally with several teams at Hulu well as external partners & vendors (including SSP’s, ad servers, data partners & trading desks) with the objective of enabling leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Serve as an industry expert in automated media to determine the best way to drive operational excellence, re-engineer and automate sales processes and systems across Hulu’s Advanced TV and Self-Service offerings
• Drive implementation of process and automation improvement projects across the campaign lifecycle, supporting technical development, launch, adoption and optimization
• Own the relationship, and drive forward requirements gathering and development requests with third party tools such as Salesforce DMP as well as Hulu’s internal Ad Platform team
• Evangelize new programmatic and self-service products as they are released & create buy/build simulation
• Relentless focus on metrics to prioritize initiatives, drive accountability and measure impact of process improvement and automation efforts
• Keep up to date with emerging digital platforms, identifying those with benefit, scaling the opportunity and helping advise on implementation

WHAT TO BRING

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent required; advanced degree desirable
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in digital advertising at a major publisher, agency or technology company; programmatic experience desirable
• 3+ years of work experience in business or operations analytics, or 2+ years experience with MBA/Master's degree
• Strong knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, challenges in the marketplace, and understanding the competition
• Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to drive data driven decision making
• High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive
• Experience and comfort with public speaking and training in front of large groups, with a focus on technical content across various audiences
• Track record of identifying and implementing process improvement

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Familiarity with Salesforce DMP, LiveRamp, Oracle
• Firm understanding of digital video marketplace, vendors, and third-party technologies
• Strong understanding of programmatic advertising landscape, offerings, mechanics
• Familiarity with SSPs, DSPs, and Agency Trading Desks
