Job Summary

Summary:

An Installation Project Manager performs a broad range of tasks related to the implementation of Nuance products at customer sites (medical centers, hospitals, clinics), including managing or assisting with new and add-on customer implementation projects as well as providing post go-live support.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as main point of contact and proactive interface between the customer and internal technical/programming IT staff, different internal business groups, and outside vendors when necessary, to ensure effective definition of and delivery of business system initiatives.
  • Work with customer to identify timeline, develop and manage project plan and ensure project stays within agreed upon scope and schedule. They are responsible for establishing/validating/defining project scope, creating project timelines, and meeting all timing, budget, and resource requirements for their projects, and they report on project progress
  • Analyze customer requirements to determine optimum workflow and system configuration; provide “best practice” guidance to the customer on workflow and configuration decisions.
  • Provide support to the customer during the testing process.
  • Coordinate Nuance resources to ensure necessary project tasks are completed on schedule, within budget and in a high quality manner.
  • Provide post go-live support including:Scheduling and leading regular status communication, stabilizing system performance, monitoring speech recognition yield.
  • Completing all Support and Account Management transition related documentation.
  • Lead more than one project at a time, depending on size, scope, complexities, and priorities
  • Contribute to department process improvement initiatives; participate in internal company projects to meet company, department and individual goals.

Qualifications

Education:BS/BA or equivalent relevant work experience

Years of Experience: 5 years of project management, business analyst or other relevant software implementation, IT, or healthcare experience

Required Skills:

  • Excellent problem solving, analytical skills
  • PMP Certification
  • Microsoft Project
  • Potentital for travel
  • Very organized, manage time/priorities effectively, and are adept at influencing others and managing conflicts.
