The Program/Project Management is responsible for stewarding enterprise investments and driving the delivery of strategic and transformational business objectives by providing leadership and direction to assigned programs/projects and support the IT portfolio more broadly. Flexibility is required to interact globally across time zones. Ability to work well in a global team environment and develop working relationships with IT, Business functional and across other divisions through effective program and resource management.

The Program/Project Manager must possess high motivation, strong client focus, and drive for results. The incumbent combines the expertise of Program/Project Management, Resource Acquisition, and our Company's IT Compliance and Integration. Due to the global nature of the teams, flexibility in meeting times is required. Some travel may also be required for key meetings.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple priorities and projects for IT Divisional initiatives that support our Company's business strategies
• Provide overall program and project leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects from inception to implementation
• Collaborate with the IT Client Service Leaders in partnering with the relevant business and IT areas to effectively coordinate execution of strategic projects
• Manage program/project financials
• Ensure programs/projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the company
• Lead planning and reporting activities for strategic activities
• Trusted advisor of the business account manager and client service leads
• Ensure our Company's technology standards compliance while pursuing integration with and leveraging of existing Company technology platforms
• Identify and recommend improvements to the program and project management capabilities of the PMO

Education Minimum Requirement:

• B.S. or higher in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields

Required Experience and Skills:

• Strong proficiency in global IT Project, Program or Portfolio Management, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience guiding program/project from inception to close-out
• Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation), negotiation, influencing and relationship
• Proficiency in managing and communicating with global teams using web-based technologies
• Experience in managing third-party vendors and development partners
• Ability to make a positive contribution as demonstrated by learning new skills and makings suggestions for process/procedure improvement
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, define and solve business problems, develop business cases, and advise business owners on managing risks
• Ability to work toward enterprise goals, using influence rather than control, and fostering a work environment based on trust, sharing and collaboration
• Strong proficiency in MS Office suite of tools (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project)
• Experience leading teams in a matrixed environment

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience Pharma/Health Care is preferred
• Awareness of relevant industry business, information and technology trends
• Ability to manage globally through complexity and ambiguity along with competing priorities
• Ability to coach and mentor junior program and project managers
• Evidence of continuous learning
• PMP Certification (not required but a strong plus)
• Program or Portfolio Management Certification (not required but a plus)
• Six Sigma / LEAN Certification (not required but a plus)
• Scrum, Scrum Agile, or Agile Project Management expertise strongly preferred; Experience with Agile delivery techniques
• Competent in the use of project management and analytical software tools. Knowledge of Enterprise Project Management and SharePoint project portfolio management processes and reporting tools
