Director of Campaign Management
Townsquare Media is looking for a Director to work with Digital Campaign Managers (DCM) within a fast-growing region of the company. This position will work closely with their peers as well as other directors from all departments within the company (sales, buying, client services, data & analytics). As part of the Campaign Management leadership team this person will be responsible for the performance of the DCMs and campaigns built within their region. The role will focus on hiring the right talent, developing the skills of the people they lead and building relationships across interdependent departments.
Responsibilities
- Managing a team of Digital Campaign Managers (local and remote) that are responsible for helping sales launch well-crafted digital media plans, both on time and to spec.
- Help team members analyze, review & report on their respective book of business to their sellers, sales leadership and operations.
- Handle escalated issues to appropriate teams whenever necessary
- Manage individual and team timelines through analysis of volume, campaign intricacy and other variables.
- Utilize your digital expertise to help improve workflows, processes’ and tools.
- Report weekly to the VP of Campaign Management on the state of the business, current opportunities or threats.
- Travel may be required in order to on-board or train your non-local staff members or markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Finance, Analytics, or related field experience
- 5+ years Programmatic experience with a focus on Campaign Management, Sales Support, Sales or Account Management
- 2+ years Managing a team focused on Campaign Management, Programmatic preferred.
- Experience managing Programmatic campaigns totaling $500k+ in revenue
- Experience working with Demand Side Platforms such as AppNexus, Simpli.Fi, DBM, GroundTruth, Centro and others preferred
- Ability to effectively hire, train, mentor, and retain team members.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills in order to ensure the highest performing campaigns for clients
- Good organization and detail-oriented skills
