Description

As a QUASEP Account Manager (AM), you will be responsible for leading the service and development process for existing clients in a designated territory for the QUASEP program. Your focus will be to service and develop QUASEP primary market which is comprised of restaurants, hotels, caterers and foodservice institutions, sports and leisure facilities as well as any other potential business qualified within the QUASEP market objectives.

This position is based on a home office set-up to be located in the Toronto region or within reasonable proximity to cover the territory effectively.

JOB FUNCTION:

The primary objectives of this position is to service and retain the existing QUASEP client base by developing strong client relationships and optimizing participation while providing growth through new business development within the assigned territory.

  • This challenging position will call on your creativity, service mindset and sales drive to effectively service, maintain, prospect and develop the commercial and non-commercial foodservice targets for the QUASEP program.
  • You will rely on your superior communication skills to understand customer and client needs, industry operating parameters and provide innovative solutions to meet those needs.
  • You will, in an organized/systematic manner, be managing existing QUASEP clients while identifying and qualifying potential opportunities in order to develop a strategy for market penetration.
  • Working closely with QUASEP Executive Director and the support team, you will:
    • Manage directly the QUASEP client base through phone, on-line and visitation support with supplier assistance, counseling, business reviews, operational tools and any other means designed to create and maintain strong client relationship.
    • Lead the sales process from prospecting to the business analysis, solution design, proposal and presentation stages through to a signed contract and successful opening.
  • You will build an industry profile by participating in corporate and industry functions and events to enhance QUASEP’s presence in the industry and build client relationships and networks.
  • You will contribute to QUASEP’s overall market and communication strategy by sustaining/updating accurate market information and by participating in the design/enhancement of business tools and selling material.

Qualifications

  • College or University graduate in Foodservice Management, Administration or Marketing;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Foodservice operation management or in B2B Selling functions, preferably with a foodservice or support service offering;
  • Bilingual (English & French) would be viewed as an asset but not compulsory for the role;
  • Knowledge of hospitality and foodservice market players and logistic a definite asset;
  • Perceptive, strategic, innovative, driven, and flexible;
  • Outstanding relationship building and strong communication skills (oral and written);
  • Strong analytical and time management skills;
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office Suite and CRM software, a must;
  • Self-motivated and autonomous;
  • Ability to work in a home-office set-up in GTA area or within reasonable proximity
