Job summary
Red Hat's Field Marketing team is looking for an Account Based Marketing Manager for the ASEAN region to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will foster deep partnerships with strategic account customers that will lead to a preference for Red Hat infrastructure, cloud, and middleware solutions. You'll be responsible for planning and carrying out targeted marketing activities at the industry and customer account levels, providing insights for decision-maker engagement while maximizing the efficiency of the sales and marketing process. As an Account Based Marketing Manager, you will serve as an individual contributor reporting to the Red Hat’s ASEAN Senior Marketing Manager.
Primary job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas; oversee a database of named contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals
- Work with the Sales team to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within strategic accounts
- Develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within these accounts
- Collaborate with the global Account Based Marketing (ABM) Program team to create and gain consensus for cross portfolio go-to-market plans and marketing plays in alignment with strategic solutions portfolios and sales directives
- Build, manage, and promote account-level ABM plans, including thought leadership content and relevant marketing assets and initiatives that align with the customer journey, sales buying stages, and support the account go-to-market plan
- Deploy marketing initiatives that are ready to be carried out and provide sales enablement on an account and industry basis using various mediums including digital, events, and social media
- Analyze metrics and reports to determine effectiveness of program activities and ABM goals
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
- Communicate successful ABM program results to the global and Asia Pacific (APAC) ABM program teams and ASEAN sales and marketing leadership
Required skills
- 8-10 years of B2B demand generation, field marketing, or digital marketing experience with proven account based marketing specific knowledge and skills in high-tech, financial services industry (FSI), telecommunications, or government
- Clear understanding of cloud and emerging technologies with the capability to skillfully integrate them into programs that deliver on sales and product objectives
- Ability to build key relationships with both internal and external audiences; experience dealing with C-level audiences is a plus
- Solid writing and presentation skills to translate detailed content into impactful go-to-market materials including web, email, and social content
- Demonstrated ability to achieve practical results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
- Achievement-oriented, collaborative, customer-focused, detailed, persistent, and resourceful; active listener
- Solid project management and process improvement capabilities, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to take the initiative and deliver projects unsupervised
- Good communicator; pragmatic with focus on what’s relevant
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report on campaign performance metrics
- Knowledge of and experience with sales and marketing automation tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC), Eloqua, Qlik Sense, or Tableau
- Information Technology Services Marketing Association (ITSMA) ABM certification is a plus
