Manager, Project Portfolio Management

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Transformation Delivery for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

• Support and lead business development activities, including identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities
• Lead the development of solutions and offerings for Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Enterprise PMO (EPMO) services
• Develop, define, and deliver advisory methodologies for PPM services
• Provide advisory services to clients, primarily related to PPM transformation initiatives including process design, solution design, and EPMO setup
• Leverage knowledge and experience to deliver end-to-end solutions on PPM Platforms including interfacing with solution vendors
• Manage engagements according to KPMG's financial/cost management policies and manage and mentor junior advisory staff; adhere to professional practice requirements

Qualifications:

• A minimum of seven years of professional experience including at least three years in a management consulting firm with Project Portfolio Management functions, processes and tools
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Knowledge of PPM domains (e.g. demand management, prioritization, resource capacity planning) and experience operating within or implementation of a portfolio management/EPMO function
• Experience with leading PPM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, CA Clarity, Clarizen, Microsoft Project Online, Planview, Planisware, Jira Align) and experience with IT financial planning
• Prior knowledge with different PPM methodologies such as Lean Portfolio Management; SAFe LPM or PMI PfMP certification is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Travel may be up to 80-100%
