Job summary

The Red Hat IT Experience team is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst who can define, lead, and deliver IT design requirements associated with the building of new Red Hat offices or updates to existing ones to join us in Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact from IT to the stakeholders during the office design process to define requirements and build designs. You’ll serve as a true knowledge expert on our office IT standards. You will also have the opportunity to be a part of projects to research and incorporate new technologies into our global standards. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll need to have exceptional analytical skills, passion for the associate experience, and experience building relationships with stakeholders. You’ll also need to be comfortable with solving ambiguous business and technical problems.

Primary job responsibilities

• Establish and maintain beneficial working relationships with individuals in multiple areas within the Red Hat Global Workplace Solutions team and other business groups including VPs, directors, managers, and team points of contact
• Firmly understand and align requirements with Red Hat’s IT design and standards
• Define the scope of an actionable project, working in tandem with key stakeholders
• Convey new technology innovation requirements to internal teams responsible for delivery of those services
• Produce advanced presentations for an audience consisting of individuals across various functions and levels of the business and IT
• Identify and guide innovations and enhancements in our service offerings
• Deliver a fully defined scope and design to delivery teams for implementation

Required skills

• 5+ years of experience working in customer-facing business analyst role
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Broad business and technical knowledge
• Motivated and highly organized; ability to persuade and deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous work streams
• Ability to prioritize tasks within a project to maximize efficiency
• Process-motivated; skilled in producing use cases, wireframes, functional and technical requirements, gap analysis, and root cause analysis
• Solid written and verbal communication and negotiation skills and the ability to persuade stakeholders at all levels
• Superior presentation skills in creation and delivery
• Ability to maintain professionalism in multiple types of working environments

The following are considered a plus:

• Experience with the audio visual (AV) and video conferencing industries
• Experience with understanding and developing office designs
• Ability to interpret and influence office floor plans
