Reporting to the Director, Pharmacy Sales, the Pharmacy Account Executive is responsible for engaging with and selling pharmacy subscriptions and implementation packages to meet customers’ needs. To accomplish this, they must work proactively with pharmacy partners, PointClickCare customers, Regional Pharmacy Sales Managers, Pharmacy Program Managers, and Pharmacy Account Development Representative to understand needs, engage directly with customers and support other roles as required. Additionally, they will be responsible for becoming an expert in PointClickCare’s pharmacy market presence, pricing, product positioning and status with integrated partners to serve as internal support for PointClickCare’s Sales and Customer Success teams. The Pharmacy Account Executive will respond to inquiries from pharmacy partners related to products, services and billing. The Pharmacy Account Executive will also work with pharmacies to develop an understanding of mutual customers, and maintain market data accordingly.
Key Responsibilities: · Establish a consistent pipeline on a daily basis via lead generation · Work with pharmacies, Regional Pharmacy Sales Manager, Pharmacy Program Managers, and Pharmacy Account Development Representative to understand common customer segments and develop and implement strategies to engage with these customers. · Work with customers and pharmacies to sign subscription quotes, understand training requirements and create corresponding professional service packages and related quotes for customers wishing to implement pharmacy integration · Respond to internal pharmacy related inquiries related to pharmacy integration status, and other sales related items · Respond to various inquiries from pharmacy partners related to products, services, and billing inquiries · Support of Pharmacy and Core Sales teams acting as a key knowledge holder for the pharmacy market
Required Experience: · Sales experience (preferably within software industry) · Experience with PointClickCare software highly desirable · Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint · Intermediate to expert knowledge of CRM systems · Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or prior experience in pharmacy or healthcare (preferably senior care) industry · Demonstration of exceptional communication skills both written and verbal · Exceptional at building strong relationships at all levels · Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills are required · Strong understanding of pipeline management deliver predictable results · Must be goal-oriented, positive, a self-starter, with strong financial and analytical skills It is the policy of PointClickCare to ensure equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other basis protected by law.
