SUMMARY

The Director of Marketing Strategy & Operations works directly with the Chief Marketing Officer to build marketing plans, and to prioritize and allocate resources (including CMO attention) to drive results. Communicating with clarity and consistency throughout entire marketing organization, you will help articulate and activate the CMO’s strategic vision. You will also curate the Hulu POV on the entertainment market with inputs from various functions, and lead the annual planning process. This role is part marketing communications expert, part marketing strategist, and requires a passion for viewer-first thinking.

At Hulu, we think big and tackle complex problems. The Director of Strategy & Operations leads data driven decision making and data supported outcomes. You will be a thought partner to marketing leadership, instrumental in achieving Hulu marketing goals. You will identify and manage talent and resource caps, and orchestrate the flow of information into and out of the CMO office (cross-functional, intra-departmental, CEO office, all of marketing).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Partner with marketing team leadership to drive annual planning
• Manage Marketing’s operating and overhead budget to minimal variance, including budget forecasting and re-forecasting processes
• Actively track and own Hulu Marketing’s KPI performance reporting
• Develop internal and external presentation materials and decks for CMO - partnering with Creative, Finance, Data & Analytics and other departments as needed
• Lead OKR goal-setting process quarterly
• Efficiently operate and guide a large marketing organization to meet or exceed goals
• Foster team growth

WHAT TO BRING

• 7+ years of experience in marketing management
• Prior experience leading strategic initiatives
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
• Ability to work with all levels of an organization to drive clarity on goals, long-term initiatives, and special projects

• MBA preferred
• Marketing Strategy & Operations Experience
• Entertainment or Technology Industry Experience
