Engineering Support Specialist Senior

Job Description BAE Systems has an immediate need for a Engineering Support Specialist Senior. As a leader in the defense industry, this position will support our various combat vehicle platforms.
Engineering Support Specialist Senior to support all systems engineering tasks such as Space, Weight, and Power, Cost, Cooling (SWaP-CC) data management, earned value associated database reporting and requirements analysis using DOORS.
Responsibilities:

• Maintain Configuration Integration Attributes (CIA) database for managing Combat Vehicle (CV) Program’s SWaP-CC data
• Work with assigned program team and develop/ maintain a matrix in Microsoft Access identifying the contract line item and Statement of Work (SOW) to Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) elements (CWBS Index).
• Work with assigned program team and develop/maintain CWBS in Microsoft Access as the primary framework for contract planning, budgeting, and reporting of the cost, schedule, and technical performance status to the Government.
• Create requirements traceability in DOORS
• Develop and maintain requirements compliance and supporting artifacts in DOORS.
• Provide systems engineering input to support program reviews.

Typical Education & Experience .Required Skills and Education Required Education:
Must have bachelor degree from an accredited university in engineering with the following experience:
8+ Years with HS
6+ Years with AA
Required Skills/ Knowledge:

• Experienced user in developing, updating, and managing relational databases
• Familiar with using CREO View in pulling up vehicle models and mass properties analysis
• Ability to support administrative tasks using DOORS.
• Ability to support CWBS tasks in Microsoft Access.
• Be able to manage size, weight, power and cost of system in database.
• Be familiar with preparation of typical artifacts that are required for program milestone reviews.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Education Preferred Skills:

• Experience with military vehicle systems is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Access Database
