In this role, you have the opportunity to

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for CT/AMI represents and manages the BMC for CT and AMI in several key markets. The BDM is responsible for commercial strategy of new or existing portfolio of products, solutions and services, with markets, driving success through ensuring BMC enablers (eg perfect NPI) are in place, effective sales channels and comm. offerings based on clinical/mktg. insights, market activation program design and risk sharing partnerships that ensure the success of growth in local market needs.

You are responsible for

  • Leads jointly with Business Leader the BMC planning, development of new BMC/business opportunities, the BMC enabler process (as SPOR) and represents the business in the BMC for relevant markets
  • ensures that the BMC enablers are in place from the Business and / or Business Category as part of the BMC plans, eg NPIs, quality, slaes/clinical capabilities, support for the in-market approach for channels, etc.
  • Act as agent of alignment an harmonization between B&M and first line of internal customer service towards the Markets
  • Consolidates the BMC plans and -enablers on behalf of the business leader and advises on optional allocation of resources (priortization of BMC enabler across markets) for Business Leader to sign off
  • Track corss-Bus category/cross market the delivery of key enablers and drives corrective actions where needed
  • Strong collaboration with the Business Category and Product Managers through feedback into the value proposition creation and development of products, solutions and services, to maximize the commercial success of the offering over the full lifecycle and co-creation with strategic customers
  • Responsible for identifying competetive movesin collaboration with the Business Marketing & Sales Ldrs (accountable) in the Markets, supported by Insights and Analytics. Develops response and attack plans in collaboration with Category and Product Management
  • Supports strategic customer deals in responsible markets

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University Degree and +7 years of related experience
  • Experience uncovering customer insights and creating momentum for new customer-focused ideas
  • Experience in high quality customer engagements to understand customer needs and define product/solutions requirements
  • Experience in medical devise industry, preferably in CT/AMI
