Job summary

The Red Hat Global Demand Generation team is recruiting a Principal Partner Marketing Manager to join our global SAP marketing team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the ecosystem marketing strategy to support our global SAP go-to-market objectives including partner-led demand generation and enablement programs for and with SAP.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the joint global SAP and Red Hay marketing plan to support revenue objectives with priority ecosystem partners: original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), global system integrators (GSIs), Certified Cloud and Service Providers (CCSP) and other channel partners
  • Assess specific growth segments within SAP’s mid-market and enterprise customers to prioritize areas of investment and focus, by industry, solution, etc., aligned to ecosystem partners
  • In conjunction with our Field and Global Alliances team, develop and implement joint marketing programs with ecosystem partners and SAP
  • Collaborate with OEM managers to establish training and enablement plans for Red Hat’s SAP HANA solution; develop and publish enablement content and marketing resources
  • Work directly with priority ecosystem partners to develop quarterly marketing plans in line with the partner business plan, including clearly articulated value propositions and co-marketing programs
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Demand Generation teams to develop joint messaging, assets, and programs
  • Collaborate with the Red Hat SAP Alliance Management team to create marketing content to grow and cultivate new partnership opportunities and evaluate the respective marketing impact
  • Measure and track results for all activities to demonstrate impact on business
  • Amplify all marketing messaging through Red Hat and SAP’s internal channels and newsletters as well as to all partners

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of business-to-business program marketing experience preferably in the technology field; enterprise infrastructure software marketing experience is a major plus
  • 5+ years of technology partner marketing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and across multiple geographies
  • Travel up to 20% required
