Client Banking Services (CBS) provides customer service for clients using the banking features of the Schwab One account (debit/check card, checking, BillPay) and all elements of the Charles Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Savings and Checking accounts. What you’re good at
As an OVERNIGHT Team Manager in Client Banking Services you will:
- Manage a team of up to 10-12 Client Banking Service Professionals to deliver value and memorable service experiences that promote client loyalty. Our managers empower the professionals on their team in order to promote a culture of accountability and mutual trust.
- Build your team’s knowledge of Schwab Bank products and services
- Develop team members through coaching, career development mentoring, and motivational techniques. Engagement in your team’s overall career success is critical.
- Create and implement individualized coaching plans centered on a professional’s growth and development. Through one-on-one meetings, our managers take time to focus on each professional as an individual with unique goals and aspirations.
- Assess and resolve escalated client issues at a moment’s notice, helping them navigate Schwab products and services. Ours managers are not afraid to jump-in and lead by example!
- Effectively recognize strategic business opportunities and seize them.
- Foster an environment where leaders work collaboratively with other managers and leadership in cross departmental projects and initiatives to be One Schwab
What you have
- Active FINRA Series 7 & 63 (or 66) licenses required
- Active FINRA Series 8, or 9 &10 licenses required (or ability to obtain under a condition of employment)
- Minimum of three years of banking/financial services industry experience required
- At least one year supervisory/management experience required
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical skills, problem solving, attention to detail, and business acumen
- Passion for service, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, strong client focus and desire to assist individuals in developing their careers
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including proven listening skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, well organized manner
- Ability to leverage resources to create client loyalty and lead our service professionals to advocate for clients by identifying the best solutions for their needs
- High degree of decision making and demonstrate the ability to work effectively on a fast paced and dynamic team with ability to quickly organize and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to identify client issues that pose a risk to the firm, lead Client Banking Service Professionals to handle them appropriately and recommend solutions to address future issues effectively
- Ability to work overnight shift. Monday-Friday 10pm-7am
In addition, ideal candidates will also have the followed preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience with staffing and workforce management
- Additional management or leadership training
