Antispam Operations Manager

Job Description

Badoo is seeking an Operations Manager to work closely with our security team – a small and very talented team that fights against spammers/scammers, repelling thousands of attacks on Badoo each day. The core focus of this role will be to control anti-spam moderation processes, oversee moderators work, measure and improve quality.

Job Role

• Oversee and control work of 60+ freelance moderators, improve moderation quality, lead hiring and training processes
• Define, implement and improve moderation processes
• Seek ways of automating manual workload
• Leverage existing tools to keep system working in line with defined KPI’s
• Work closely with engineering team in order to optimise and improve the anti-spam systems
• Work closely with the Anti-Spam Product Manager to improve moderation processes

Required Experience

• Written and verbal fluency in both English and Russian essential
• Team leadership experience, ideally with experience managing a remote/freelance workforce
• Background working with large online social projects
• Experience working with an in-house development team with rapid release cycles
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Engaging and able to motivate others to achieve goals
• Understanding of modern spam/scam vectors and defence methods desirable
• Previous management of technical workflows/technical implementation desirable
• Solution focused and able to translate business requirements into technical specifications
