On Wing Support Technician

Job Description

Role Summary:

The On Wing Support technician based in KLIA ,Sepang,Malaysia, will be responsible for performing maintenance on GE/CFM commercial aircraft engines especially Air Asia Fleet. The OWS technician may be deployed on short notice to any location around the world to carry out maintenance work. Module removal and installation, line maintenance, borescope inspections and boroblends are among the tasks commonly required.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on GE/CFM aircraft engines around the world to the highest quality standards.
• Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures
  Demonstrate required knowledge of OWS Quality Procedures, as well as EASA/FAA/DCAM Part 145 requirements and procedures.
• Perform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Aviation Industry performing maintenance on commercial aircraft engines.
• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance at any local Universities or college.
• Availability to work flexible shift patterns as required, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to travel on short notice and be deployed at remote locations for extended periods of time.

• Strong communication skills and problem solving ability are a must.
• Possess a desire to learn and grow with advances in technology
  Line maintenance, module removal & installation, or LRU removals and installations.
• Demonstrated quality, compliance and customer satisfaction skills.
• Experience in repair of commercial engines
  Business level of English.
