Data Migration Project Manager

Cognizant is looking for a Data Migration Project Manager as part of a team working in our biggest programs in Spain, for one of our top clients in the Banking and Financial Services industry in Spain.What would be your main responsibilities in this role?• Manage and coordinate the entire data migration activities for several workstreams, engaging with various stake holders (includes internal, client and third parties) to maintain the project timelines and deliverables• Interface with project stakeholders, Business SME’s to obtain business and process related details, dependencies and understand the As-Is Data Architecture, Integration touch point and come up with To –Be Migration Architecture• Assess improvement opportunities in data standardization during migration• Responsible for defining End to End Migration Strategy around Core Banking Platform, Card management systems• Data Dependency & Gap analysis across various data domains span across multiple Source systems• Joint responsibility of the Data migration track work stream along with DM offshore lead.• Accountable for delivering Data Migration Strategy at Workstream level• Provide inputs to Overall Data migration strategy• Work closely with DM programme manager and PMO on the detailed DM plan and agreeing resource loading, programme governance structure, WSR.• Review and present Data Migration weekly status, critical actions to the client.• Manage the DM onsite team of Functional Leads, Analysts, Technical T24 and ETL resources.• Work closely with Core implementation teams (Retail, Cards and Wealth) and align the Data migration planSkills Required• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the IT industry• Experience in data migration/extraction/reconciliation projects, ideally on cloud• ETL tool knowledge (Informatica Percenter or Gresham CTC)• Technical skills: Java, RDMS, API, Microservices, AWS cloud• Strong architectural understanding and knowledge of Java Frameworks and tools like Jira and Confluence• Hands-on, strong organizational skills, strong communication, used to work with remote teams, third-party management• Experience in Banking domain would be highly preferable (ex. Customer, Accounts, Deposits, Cards, Lending etc)• Both proficiency in English and Spanish.Experience that would be highly valued additionally. • Retail / Wealth Banking experience• T24 / TAP experience•Experience in Change management, new system adoption, risk &mitigation plan in migration projects• Experience in leading testing & validation of migrated data in new applications.
