Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrated solution that assist our Banking and Financial Services customers in managing major business processes in their overall enterprise structure

• Forge relationships with Technology CDO/CXO decision makers within client organizations

• Support end-to-end lead generation, participate in the development of pre-sales proposals and sales pitches, providing the required solution for RFI/RFPs

• Design future-proof Digital solutions - legacy modernization, product centric org structures, pod based delivery model, DevOps, scaled agile (Safe 4.0 or above), micro-services, containerization, serverless, hybrid hosting patterns such as private, public cloud (Azure/AWS), PaaS (OpenShift, Cloud Foundry)

• Analyze client’s Enterprise Portfolio of applications and make pragmatic judgements regarding the business value of bringing in a number of digital solutions, like Digital Engineering, Intelligent process automation, Interactive, AI& Analytics, IoT, Blockchain etc.

• Opportunity to define and overview a consistent agile development process according to the team and customer expectations

• Conduct technical reviews, audit projects and ensure best practices are followed

• Stay up to date with state of the art technology trends to propose new features and provide value and innovative solutions to our customer

• Create and execute a high level development plan based on multi-year technology roadmaps for one or more projects

• Participate in the software development community in some capacity: meetups, blogs, Stack Overflow, open source projects, etc.

• Influence a large team or multiple teams to achieve their goals

• Support revenue generation by scoping, structuring, and leading digital engagements

• Envision and create new opportunities within existing and new businesses

• Help our clients transition from traditional platforms to cutting-edge future-ready architectures

• Build multi-channel digital architecture solutions with cloud-first, mobile-first approach

• Develop actual working prototypes of the proposed solution

• Collaborate with Cognizant internal stakeholders, product vendors, other third party service providers and the customer in the strategic design process to translate business needs into enterprise level integration solutions

• Demonstrate technical expertise in hardware capabilities, software requirements, security requirements and systems integration

• Determine the availability and viability of third party components and services as needed

• Validates third party components comply with established core system architecture. Develop and design specifications for integration, products and technologies

• Mentoring and providing technical oversight to a team of architects

• Training client personnel on the usage and administration of the proposed solution

We are looking for Integration Architects who meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related subjects, MBA or advanced degrees

• 15+ years of IT Experience in IT consulting, solution and delivery roles for Banking and Financial Services customers (preferably in the Middle-East)

• Proven consulting background and experience of working on digital transformations is a must

• An established track record of delivering, preparing RFI/RFP response, technical solutions for systems integration & consulting engagements in integration solutions

• Deep understanding of design and architecture methodologies and standards - understanding of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachmann

• Deep understanding and ability to talk convincingly through ideas centered around modern digital enterprises such as data modernization, product centric org structures, pod based delivery model, understanding of DevOps, Scaled agile (Safe 4.0 or above), API, microservices, containerization, serverless, hybrid hosting patterns such as private, public cloud (Azure/AWS), PaaS (OpenShift, Cloud Foundry)

• Experience in the use of cloud technologies, cloud strategies and in architecting solutions for the cloud

• Exposure to technologies such as big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, automation and Internet of Things

• Experience in security architectures, digital security and cloud security

• High degree of comfort and ability to talk through approach to perform app portfolio analysis, identify candidates for cloud native journey

• Ability to lead level-1 client workshop using BFS domain driven design techniques

• Proven and strong skills with ability to formulate conceptual solutions including design and technology to business problems.

• Experience of working across varied technology domains such as Business applications, Data, Infrastructure, Integration and Security

• Previous experience in a Solution Design, Technical Lead or Architect Role

• Prior background in software development using Agile methodologies

• Demonstrate a clear technology thinking and a sound understanding of technology solution design principles

• Ability to successfully relate technology solutions to business problems and sell ideas

• Experience of providing technology leadership in complex projects and programs

• A passion for technology and how it can deliver business solutions

• Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill – both oral and written

• A strong teamwork ethic with a proven ability to work collaboratively

• A track record of developing creative solutions
