Position Description

The Senior EMR Integration Analyst will collaborate with our team of data scientists, researchers, risk adjustment experts, and developers in implementing EMR integration projects that support Pulse8’s leading business algorithms for Risk Adjustment, Quality, and Data Analytics.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing workflow needs between Pulse8 clients, their EMR partners and data teams.
  • Building out scalable and stable workflow solutions that automate data acquisition.
  • Managing integration projects and timelines in an independent environment.
  • Providing documentation and support for data engineers, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Develop new and innovative integration processes as industry standards evolve.
  • Maintain a high level of professional readiness in the field of data integration.

Qualifications

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience

Experience:

Minimum Essential Knowledge / Skills:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience analyzing and building integration workflows between healthcare partners
  • Prior experience in healthcare industry and EMR software integration
  • 5 years’ experience with HL7 standards, such as HL7 2.x, FHIR, or CCDA
  • 2 years’ experience using Corepoint Integration Engine
  • Familiarity with the concepts of Direct Messaging and REST API
  • Experience managing large amounts of healthcare data securely following HIPAA rules
  • Familiarity with clinical coding systems such as ICD, CPT, and LOINC
  • Familiarity with SQL server fundamentals
  • Interest in expanding knowledge and becoming proficient in new integration standards

  • Ability to interface with both external and internal personnel at all levels

Desired Skills:

  • Experience integrating with EMR software such as Epic, Cerner or Allscripts.
  • Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and ACA data needs.

Travel requirements:

  • Will travel to Annapolis, MD for new hire orientation and then all Pulse 8 employees attend two company summits per year in various locations.

Working arrangements:

  • Monday through Friday or as defined by assignment requirements
