Providence is calling a Senior Applications Analyst, HRIS to Providence St Joseph Health. This is a remote opportunity, with the candidate residing in any of the PSJH core states (AK, WA, MT, OR, CA).

We are seeking a Senior Applications Analyst for our HRIS team. This role serves as a HR administrator for the recently implemented ServiceNow HR module, and its on-going development and technical support needs. This is a remote opportunity, with the candidate residing in any of the PSJH core states (AK, WA, MT, OR, CA). If office space at a PSJH location is desired, it can be arranged. As a ServiceNow HR administrator, the incumbent is responsible for: translating business needs to system design, conducting system/data analysis, configuration and development, as well as testing and deployment activities. Actively participates in and leads planning, scheduling and testing of ServiceNow HR system upgrades and new configurations. Analyzes data and provides guidance in making HR related decision in the application. Additionally, the incumbent act as the liaison between business teams, application vendor and IS for system integrations, enhancements and issue fixes.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the ServiceNow HR application as a HR administrator.
• Identify, design, implement and maintain system configuration for ServiceNow HR.
• Work directly with HR teams, technical staff and project teams to identify, analyze, design, test and implement new systems or improvements to the existing application and associated procedures.
• Act as work-stream lead on ServiceNow HR projects, feature releases and issue resolutions as needed.
• Provide hands-on tier 2 or 3 operational support for system or data issues, complex system/process questions, reporting and change requests as needed.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Computer Science, Business Mgmt. or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with service desk applications, preferably HR case management/ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow, Zendesk, HRCaseWork, Jira, etc).
• Three (3) years in-depth system knowledge and demonstrated experience with design, configuration, process flow, and integrations in Cloud based applications required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team as appropriate.
• Demonstrate competency by maintaining positive, constructive interpersonal relationships, and by understanding and practicing the principles of effective teamwork.
• Ability to work across multiple functional areas and with many diverse user communities.
• Ability to prioritize and organize short-term and long-term responsibilities in response to changing demands.
• Outstanding listening, written, and verbal communication as well as documentation skills, including the presentation of complex subjects in a clear and precise manner.
• Knowledge of project management tools, change control and methodologies around system implementations, upgrades and fixes (e.g. Agile methodology).

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Five (5) years demonstrated experience supporting and implementing complex HR and/or payroll systems (e.g. Workday, Oracle, Lawson, SuccessFactors).
• Healthcare industry experience.
