Job Description

Overview

Supports the design, development, analysis and implementation of global compensation and benefits programs. Performs competitive market analysis and evaluates positions across Tiffany business units to deliver comprehensive compensation reviews, update salary grades, and further drive and inform compensation-related decisions. Compiles and generates benefit information reports to conduct analysis and evaluation of benefit programs for continued enhancement and improvement.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Evaluates new and revised positions, working in partnership with HR business partners and line management, by reviewing all relevant position and contextual information to provide accurate guidance on compensation, job grades, FLSA determinations, etc. Builds and maintains Tiffany's online compensation database by pro-actively benchmarking positions. Provides ongoing compensation support and consultation for global organization.
  • Researches and provides analysis and recommendations on evolving benefits trends and legislation, ensuring compliance of all Tiffany programs. Assists in implementing new plan designs and changes. Acts as relationship manager for benefits vendors, including escalated issue resolution support. Provides guidance to HR partners on elevated/complex or non-routine benefits issues.
  • Facilitates and assists in the administration of annual merit and bonus programs, equity grants and annual benefits enrollment.
  • Assists as needed with running reports and queries, completing annual compensation and benefits surveys, data audits, compliance testing and maintenance of HRIS and total rewards systems.
  • Assists in the development of effective communication materials that enhance the understanding and value of compensation and benefits programs. Update as necessary policy and procedural documents and forms.
  • Ad Hoc Business Support on various project, initiatives, and analyses.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related area such as HR, Finance, Business or Economics; 3+ years of experience in Compensation and/or Benefits.
  • Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience with HR enterprise systems, particularly Peoplesoft/Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Analytical thinker with inherent curiosity about data. Able to work with large data samples to ensure data accuracy, identify patterns and potential issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and partnership skills. Able to articulate complex compensation, benefits, or data related topics in an organized and professional manner.
  • Ability to adapt and manage a variety of different tasks with skill.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with sales compensation design and/or benefits design.
  • Experience with cloud based HCM systems.
  • Experience with online survey management and compensation/benefits benchmarking tools.
  • Experience with global compensation programs &/or US or global benefit programs.
