Silvercar's Dealerware team is adding a Full Stack Developer . We’re looking for someone that has professional experience with web programming, comfortable working with cloud platforms, know the ins and outs of the frameworks and libraries they currently use and want to master new frameworks. As a Full Stack Developer, you will: ● Building reusable APIs for our client-facing apps in Ruby on Rails and Node.js . ● Be a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team to iterate and deliver on new product increments. ● Creating and maintaining scalable infrastructure leveraging modern cloud platforms. ● Building amazing UX client-side apps with React or other JS frameworks. ● Writing tests and documentation as you implement features with your team. ● Maintaining expertise in current and emerging technologies and tools. Your peers would say you: ● Have experience building cloud-based services for scalability. ● Have experience using application state management with Redux or similar library. ● Have experience building and maintaining service-oriented architecture out of a monolithic system. ● Prefers working in a polyglot environment. ● Great at collaborating with cross-functional teams. ● Have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies. ● Leave things better than you found them. ● Will go above and beyond to make sure the teams are successful. Required qualifications: ● Experience working in a product-driven environment. ● Experience with Ruby on Rails ● Experience with Node or other programming languages (i.e. Python, Go, etc.). ● Experience in React or other JS framework ● Experience documenting and testing RESTful APIs ● Experience working with databases in PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Redis ● Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Docker ● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
