Position Summary: As part of our Pharmacy team, you as the Implementation Specialist will work with new (often non tech-savvy) users during the process of configuring, training and providing customer support for clients and pharmacy partners. This individual is a critical part of the interface with new and existing clients to ensure they have a successful launch, offering interactive group trainings. This individual will assist the customer to maximize the use of PointClickCare application and implementation of their appropriate business practices. Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability will be key attributes of the right individual. This position will primarily work remotely out of their home office, however, there will be some travel required (approximately 25-50%). Key Responsibilities: • Standardized demonstration style group training method introducing clients to PointClickCare functionality through web-based sessions. • Assist and support clients with SmartZone registrations. • Responsible for keeping training databases updated with new releases and examples for the training sessions. • Time tracking – Keep track of Project updating internal tasks, log time on specific projects and training sessions daily • Certify in additional functionality to work with clients on additional projects doing configuration and end user trainings. • Document project updates and tasks. Additional Responsibilities: • Proactively pursue professional development including continued certification on product functionality. • Industry and implementation knowledge gathering, sharing with team/ Mentoring of new employees. • Success factors - learning and certifications, vacation/leave requests, track yearly goals and progress. • Expenses - accurate monthly submission of expenses for approval with receipts. • Recording training sessions for education with new release information. • Assist Help Desk with support calls on Clinical and Medication Management related issues. Examples but not limited to: • Core Clinical • Orders Management • eMAR • Integrated Medication Management • Secure Conversation • Practitioner Engagement Accountable to: • Senior Manager, Managers and Team Leads. • Clients. • Pharmacy Partners Interaction with other Departments: • Work with Learning Program Management to complete certification process. • Work with Product Knowledge and Learning Program Management to review new product enhancements, discuss video recordings. • Project Management - keep the Project Manager up to date on implementation progress and any issues that arise that could stall the implementation. • Financial Implementers - review configuration items that cross between financial and clinical. • Create cases for enablement's reporting of issues Required Experience: • University degree or college degree. • Previous PointClickCare and/or EHR equivalent software experience is an asset. • Solid understanding of clinical practices and state requirements, particularly related to medication management. • Direct experience in a clinical role in assisted living or skilled nursing. • Excellent presentation skills is a must, and even better if you are bilingual! • Time management and problem-solving skills are key, with a customer support attitude. • Ability to work in a fast-past environment and manage multiple project simultaneously.
