The Criteo Retail Media offer allows brands to promote and accelerate sales thanks to our unique Retailer Network (Notebooksbilliger, MyToys, SportScheck, ...) throughout a large and complete range of solutions. As a Sales Manager on the Retail Media Demand team, you will be in charge of securing agency and brand media buys for Criteo Retail Media products (Retail Media Audience Extension, Commerce Display, Sponsored Products). Whilst focusing on driving revenue from an agency portfolio, you will also be responsible for building brand direct relationships. You must be highly effective in navigating all facets of the sales process; from prospecting, to understanding media buying cycles, navigating the client/brand stakeholder hierarchy, and through to closing the business. We are looking for someone who is experienced in building up deep relationships with customers by being responsive, creative, consultative and having the right network in place.
What you'll do
- You will sell the Criteo Retail Media proposition to the brands and agencies in Germany
- Organize and prioritize your brands and agencies against the key categories of our retail partners
- Continuously prospect and pitch new clients, looking to drive the sale of new campaigns
- Manage client relationships from the early stages of the sales process through to post-sales
- Create long term client relationships which ultimately leads to sustainable, repeating business
- Understand and articulate key KPIs for campaigns (e.g. ROAS, ...) and use that to fuel new business with existing clients
Who you are
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with persuasive verbal and written communication expertise
- Business fluent in English and German
- Direct industry know-how covering current or prior experience with brands (CPG, Consumer Electronics, Fashion, Toys, ...) and agencies is highly desired
- Interest and ideally work experience in the online retail space and an understanding of sensitivities to advertising on retail sites
- Fundamental understanding of online advertising, technology ecosystem, reporting of campaigns, etc.
- Existing strong relationships with e-commerce sites and brands
- Disciplined and methodical sales approach is required as well as prioritizing and organizing sales calls for maximum revenue impact
- Comfortable with outbound cold-calling, Salesforce.com knowledge is a plus
- Team player who is able to facilitate communication amongst several departments
- Good interpersonal and persuasive skills across all levels
- Ability to travel for business required
