To deliver the marketing strategy to achieve sales, costs, profit, contribution, customer relationships and people development for the business

Job Description

1. Customer Insight

Understands customer needs, behaviours, motivational drivers and how they are influenced. Knows how to segment and target customers to align the development and execution of marketing initiatives

2. People insight and people development

Understand the desire and development needs of a team of up to 30 people; able to provide effective development support and performance managmenet

3. Marketing Insight

Knowledge of AZ products, competitors, disease areas and industry environment Design, develop and implement appropriate approach to collect, assess and maintain information. Draws business-relevant conclusions from information

4. Strategic Thinking

Understands the inter-relationships of business drivers to make sound strategic decisions that build the sustainable competitive advantage of the product/brand or company

5. Marketing Planning

Understands marketing principles, and applies them through the process involving forecasting of sales and market share, positioning, planning marketing mix, brand FET allocation, and cost.

6. Campaign Development and Execution

Develops compelling and differentiated offerings that build distinctive and long-lasting brand desire in the minds of customers; able to manage the execution of up to $20Mn of marketing activities with good control of planning, cost and compliance

7. Influencing Stakeholders

Ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to change perception or obtain commitment
