What we're looking for:

You are an experienced Citrix Architect leading Citrix Consulting projects that range in scale and complexity. You excel at developing business opportunities for Consulting. You enjoy sharing your advanced knowledge of Consulting principles, Citrix products and technologies to help the customer achieve their business goals.

Position Overview

The Services Relationship Manager oversees the sales of all customer consulting and education solutions and strategies based on the analysis of the customer’s business goals, objectives, needs and general business environment. Interfaces with sales teams and helps drive alignment through focused activities. Acts as the face of Citrix Professional Services and drives team unity.

Role Responsibilities

  • Use a "medium-to-long range" planning horizon on sales strategy, ensuring that day-to-day tasks are being carried out effectively, while anticipating and planning for long-term growth
  • Understand the client’s overall business to ensure successful implementation of Citrix products and technologies.
  • Apply Citrix products and technologies to achieve customers’ business goals.
  • Act as an authority on Citrix Consulting project methodology and best practices, demonstrating the ability to tailor the methodology to meet the client’s needs while preserving a structured process.
  • Consult with Consulting Sales Director on key issues and ongoing communications.
  • Demonstrate high "Speed of Delivery" – being able to rapidly develop documentation, standards, and other deliverables for which they are responsible.
  • Write Statements of Work on behalf of Citrix Consulting.
  • Identify and pursue potential Citrix Consulting opportunities at a client within and outside of the scope of work.
  • Work with Citrix Sales, Citrix SEs, CSA and SI partners and others to qualify, manage and close Consulting opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Citrix Sales to use Citrix Consulting resources and service offerings in the most appropriate fashion to support large/strategic product sales opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of Citrix Consulting projects and act as a business escalation point to the project manager.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires advanced knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and/or education.
  • Typically requires minimum of 7 years of experience. May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Manager/Architect in Citrix Consulting or equivalent large SI management experience with one year of experience in Citrix Consulting.
  • Extensive experience in acting as the lead of Citrix Consulting projects, ranging from of medium to large scale and complexity.
  • Extensive experience in business development for Consulting.
  • Knowledge of system architecture and/or programming languages.
  • Relevant technical and sales certifications such as MCSE, UNIX, CCEA, CCSP, CCIA, Cisco, and Solaris are a plus.
  • Security Clearance is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task between different initiatives (projects, clients, office initiatives, etc.).
  • Possess a strong command of technology and the business process environment related to a project.
  • Build credibility and strengthen the relationship with the client.
  • Advanced knowledge of Consulting principles, Citrix products and technologies and demonstrates the ability to appropriately apply Citrix products, consulting methodology and technologies to assist the customer in achieving its business goals.
  • Possess excellent planning, relationship building, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor methodology to meet clients’ needs while preserving a structured process.
  • Experience and success in leadership roles at Citrix Consulting
  • Excellent understanding of desktop and server operating systems software, including Microsoft Windows
  • Solid conceptual understanding of the following technologies:
    • Windows Active Directory
    • Browsing and name resolution
    • User authentication
    • Routing
    • Firewall configuration
    • Sub-netting issues
    • TCP/IP
    • Scripting/Application Development
    • Outstanding professional demeanor/presence, acting in polished, refined and controlled manner during highly stressful situations
