People Operations Specialist

What You Will Accomplish:

• Our People Operations Specialist will be a key member of our team, focused on delivering an outstanding global employee experience through projects and processes that improve employee satisfaction.
• Lead Illumio’s immigration program, coordinating closely with our employees, managers, and outside immigration attorneys.
• Support critical people programs such as onboarding, benefits education and administration, compliance, and systems management.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and managers regarding HR questions.
• Partner cross-functionally with our People Partner, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and other teams – as well as outside vendors – to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
• Help organize information, analyze data, and share reporting.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in our employee engagement strategies, tools, and processes.
• Learn and grow in your career as you deepen your knowledge of People Operations and expand your level of responsibility.

What You Will Bring:

• 3+ years of People Operations experience with responsibility for immigration, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and/or HRIS platforms.
• Ability to balance owning programs as a strong individual contributor alongside the need to collaborate as team player to accomplish our goals.
• A process-driven approach that helps IIlumio continue to grow and scale.
• Capacity to multitask and work in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment, preferably at a technology company.
• A positive, customer-service mindset with excellent communication skills across a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or equivalent post-secondary degree.

Bonus Points:

• You have experience supporting international employees working in the US and around the world.
• You have worked with HRIS platforms such as ADP or Workday.
