The Role

Tesla is reinventing the trade-in and vehicle remarketing business and we are looking for innovators to help us in this endeavour. The Netherlands Project Manager,Remarketing is a demanding positions which requires unique industry expertise, entrepreneurship and the ability to anticipate trends, and to be ahead of the curve. As the leader of Tesla remarketing in the Netherlands, you are responsible for the development and growth of our business in this key market. The right fit for this role will own the strategy to engineer an innovative solution to market previously owned Tesla products, and handle our vehicle trade-in business.

You’ll be responsible for using strong judgement to select the business partners for vehicle trade-ins and acting as a conduit on our behalf for those business relationships. Furthermore, the Netherlands Project Manager,Remarketing operates the pre-owned Tesla inventory control and maintains a constant pulse on market conditions. You will work closely with a global remarketing team to help advance Tesla’s ability to address our customer’s needs, concerns, and requests from the field. You may have to build a team for the netherlands Remarketing business, and work hand in hand with our Refurbishment Team and Valuation team across EMEA to assist in providing the best overall product. A sharpened sense of leadership, swift implementation, and scrappiness is required. The best candidate for this role is equally comfortable as an individual contributor as they are leading the team, in an all hands on deck environment. You will communicate between many functions of Tesla’s business - including Sales, Delivery, Service, and Finance. We move fast... and continual improvement is important.

You will report into either the EMEA Remarketing General Manager, or the Regional Remarketing Manager for Western Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving pre-owned vehicle sales, marketing, training, and inventory control throughout territory.
  • Acquire new business opportunities and work with other teams to build, mindshare and implement use of our pre-owned products and systems.
  • Incorporate platforms for remarketing team to collaborate with all facets of the organization.
  • Collaborate with other Remarketing Managers to achieve industry leading customer loyalty results.
  • Resolve wholesale related problems, including payment delinquency, billing errors, inventory discrepancies, etc.
  • Conduct annual and "as needed" business review of the remarketing program in NL
  • Stay cognizant of automotive and financial industry trends, as well as competitive developments.
  • Execute on all business dealings in a way that creates a superior ownership experience that represents the Tesla brand values.
  • Drive culture of accountability and commitment.
  • Travel may be required to meet with business partners, to manage field teams, and participate in training programs as needed.

Requirements

  • 3- 5 Years of business development, business analytics, and vehicle remarketing expertise required.
  • Management experience leading a team of people preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills.
  • Experience with establishing, maintaining and leveraging relationships at partner companies.
  • Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to resolve critical problems quickly and independently.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume.
  • Ability to work across multiple systems
  • Previous automotive remarketing experience.
