What you’ll do

As the National Account Executive, you will be fulfilling a pivotal role of owning the sales in the UK Foodservice and Health channel, whilst managing Key Accounts (e.g Costa Coffee). You will be responsible for the channel strategy, ensuring continued growth in our existing customers and their on onward customers, whilst pioneering for new business in the Impulse channel. Key responsibilities will include delivering sales growth within the channel through expanding distribution, launching new products and implementing promotional activity through developing ambitious annual plans with customers.

As a National Account Executive you will need to focus on these key areas

Job Aspect 1 – Key Account, Foodservice & Wholesaler Account Management

  • Deliver annual NSV targets of Key National Wholesalers and National Accounts (Foodservice and Health)
  • Owning and developing the Coffee and QSR strategy, including the Account Management of Costa
  • Develop strong working relationships with customers to deliver account objectives
  • Implement promotional plans and launch new products
  • Work with the KIND field team to maximize distribution and instore execution

Job Aspect 2 – New Business Development

  • Lead on driving KINDs distribution throughout Foodservice, Health and Fitness in the UK
  • Own the strategic launch of new product ranges in the KIND portfolio
  • Working with the KIND field team to help unlock small / medium sized chains in Coffee, QSR, Health and Fitness

Job Aspect 3 – Administrative Tasks

  • Be responsible for the forecast for your customers and support with the wider channel
  • Report monthly on results and full year forecasts
  • Analyse sales and customer data

  • Good analytical and numeracy skills and Excel proficient

You have...

  • Educated to a degree level
  • 2-5 years of experience of FMCG sales within a field or office-based role.
  • Valid UK driver’s license & clean record
  • Fluent in English

Pluses

  • Ideally the candidate will have some experience of account management, negotiation and/or business development.
