SUMMARY

Hulu's Cross-Platform Experience Product team is seeking an MBA Product Management Intern for Summer 2020 who will be an outstanding addition to our rapidly growing Personalization space. Our team ensures Hulu viewers always have something compelling to watch, by crafting world-class search, recommendations, and feedback experiences for 10's of millions of users. We combine UX savvy with machine learning to power the highest traffic surfaces of Hulu. Our goal is for each customer to feel that Hulu deeply understands them and their unique preferences for media.

We want your help! We want and expect you to be an integral member of the team, to challenge us, learn from us, provide new thinking, and help us work towards our ambitious and exciting plans. Throughout your internship, you'll lead an aspect of Personalization end-to-end, spearheading our thinking in an unexplored area.

The right person for this job is someone who loves to dive deep into novel, unsolved challenges. They're a compelling storyteller and analytical thinker, passionate about turning ambiguity into clarity and making the right investments for the largest impact on Hulu's business and customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Learn our industry and competition, dig into the unique behaviors of Hulu viewers, and survey customers' needs to present a case for solving a key Personalization challenge
• Partner with top researchers, designers, analysts, and engineers to design solutions and create proofs-of-concept or experiments
• Gain first-hand experience with the ins and outs of product management and developing services powered by machine learning
• Have a lot of fun in the process!

WHAT TO BRING

• A deep passion for film and television, with a clear vision of how to improve users' experiences with digital entertainment
• A genuine curiosity about all of the little details of a system that mean the difference between adequate and outstanding performance
• The ability to translate highly complex technical concepts to partners across diverse cultures and disciplines
• A knack for weaving statistics with logic and research to produce a rock-solid justification for strategy

NICE-TO-HAVES

• History of tackling massive scale data problems, involving millions of individuals and billions of data points
• Hands-on experience or higher education in computer science or similar engineering fields
