Job Family: Information Technology
Designs, analyzes and supports the company's information technology structure, systems and processes. Acquires, designs, implements and operates the company's information technology resources (e.g., computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, data, databases, etc.). Deploys, acquires, maintains and ensures security of information technology assets. Plans and tests processes to ensure compliance with system requirements, business objectives, security standards and other technical requirements.
Job Function: Software Validation & Testing
Designs and develops and executes quality assurance programs and policies. Tests and analyzes software to ensure compliance with specified standards and end-user requirements. Conducts test planning, writing test cases, test case automation, and test execution/defect tracking. Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy. Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing. Plans, documents and directs system tests and resolves issues.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Associate, Testing analyzes, develops, debugs, executes and maintains automated test cases within the testing environment. S/he promotes and develops awareness of testing methodologies and standards, and continuously enhances knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends. May assist in developing test strategies and plans and is also be tasked with analyzing complex technical system problems. In addition, s/he leads projects or subprojects and coordinates rollouts of moderate scope while providing coaching and guidance to team members.
Essential Functions:
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert conducting complex software/systems testing.
- Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced Quality Assurance/Testing personnel.
- Leads test releases and system integration for new technology and/or prototype systems.
- Develops complex test plans with critical business impact related to new or enhanced products and services.
- Evaluates and recommends new testing processes and systems (automation) between multiple platforms.
- Leads teams to deliver project milestone results in fast paced environment.
- Works directly with management and vendors to ensure that project goals and objectives are met.
- Establishes software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance.
- Defines, develops and implements software/systems testing standards and procedures, and oversees testing.
- Documents and analyzes test results, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality.
- Oversees testing of purchased third-party software and/or services to ensure that company standards and end-user requirements are met.
Other Functions:
- Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other project managers.

Requirements:
- Education –
- Bachelor's Degree: in computer science, software engineering or equivalent field.
- or equivalent work experience
- Experience –
- 5-9 years Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Writing test plans and test cases.

Working Conditions:
- Frequently: Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
- Occasional moving and lifting of equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
- Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
