The Cloud Security Engineer will assist in the daily support of the cloud security technology for protecting client and intellectual data for all cloud/hybrid solutions for Schwab. This position will directly contribute to the overall Application and Data Protection program and lead cloud security technology around cloud application and data monitoring, reporting and auditing controls.

• Cloud Security Control Services & endpoint tier2 implementation, business integration, configuration management, Policy implementation & enforcement, and client support
• Ensuring security of enterprise level and customer facing cloud services
• Provide consultation and SME guidance to business partners and support teams
• Provide continuous service delivery and product lifecycle integration
• Partner with project teams & colleagues and coordinate implementation, aligning to the company’s vision & purpose
• Develop and nurture vendor relationships during all project phases including implementation, integration, and ongoing support
• Policy Management
• Web application security
• Troubleshooting log forwarding & user workflows

What you have

Duties require an experienced security engineer, who understands product lifecycle, certification and delivery. Responsibilities include service and product implementation, integration & ensuring availability across SCS Authentication Control Engineering Services. Duties include coordinating service integration and product implementation, process maturation, and managing vendor relationships. Additionally, responsibilities include customer consultation, tier2 support, as well as providing guidance and direction to consumers and support teams.

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of IT security administration, infrastructure engineering and operational support within an enterprise environment with at least 5,000+ users
• Working experience with Cloud Security & Web Application Security technologies
• Must have a solid understanding and experience implementing industry standard security concepts and operational tools.
• Must demonstrate ability to perform and respond well in crisis situations
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively cooperate with others
• Experience with Active Directory Integration
• Experience with Splunk
• Experience with SSL Certificates
• Understanding of Network Firewalls & Proxy Flows
• Experience with Python and/or other programming languages.
• Understanding of OTP technologies
• Understanding of SSO & Federation

**The schedule for this position requires shift work, alternating every other week. **

Shift 1: M – F, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Shift 2: M 7:30 am - 4:30 pm; T/W/Th 9:00 am - 7:00 pm; F 7:30 am – 12:30 pm
