The Business Strategy Lead is responsible for Aftermarket business strategy and business intelligence activities for Geared TurboFan (GTF) Engine Programs in Pratt & Whitney Engine Services (PWES).

The Lead plays a critical role in data analysis, strategic planning, automation and process improvement, to proactively address business risks in dealing with the GTF aftermarket volume growth and to position the business for long term success. The Lead is a seasoned professional in the Program Business Management discipline, who works independently, executes business plans, data deliverables, assists in analysis of program estimates. The Lead also collects data to support negotiation of contracts and business direction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning initiatives for business projection including repair volume, sales forecasting, capacity planning, etc.
  • Lead metrics and reporting automation efforts to improve business intelligence and assist the business to identify risks and data driven actions efficiently.
  • Perform data analysis in Microsoft Excel.
  • Perform competitive analysis as needed to guide the business.
  • Identify, help develop and implement high impact initiatives. Gather business intelligence from internal and/or external sources, as needed to facilitate strategy formulation. An example is the Asia repair capability expansion strategy.
  • Support special projects and drive automation to make the business scalable.
  • Lead process improvement events and projects.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • In the absence of a degree, 9 years are required.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a US Person, this includes Green Card holders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leveraging advanced MS Excel skills for data mining and analysis
  • Experience leveraging diligence and persistence to follow projects through to conclusion
  • Aerospace Aftermarket business and process experience
