Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Senior Methods Process Analyst to support operations in Seattle, Washington. This is a union-represented position.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducts long term business strategy planning by leading the analysis of the current and future business environment.
- Develops forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support long term company initiatives and program business.
- Develops Business System factory definition at a program level for new and complex statements of work.
- Develops labor hour estimates for complex new or revised production and/or tooling work packages.
- Utilizes significant experience to develop solutions to future business plans and strategies.
- Acts as a consultant to lower level analysts.
- Develops integrated tool and production master schedules in support of long term business plans and strategies.
- Recognized as a subject expert and consults with business unit and company level management.
- Considered an expert of Process Improvement tools and coordinates across organizations to lead the identification and implementation of improvements to processes.
- Acts as consultant to senior management both with in business units and across the enterprise.
- Acts as a consultant and external spokesperson for programs, business units and enterprise level to address unplanned events.
- Assists as a subject matter expert to develop plans and actions needed to address complex recovery efforts.
- Acts as a consultant during negotiations, representing Production and Tooling Operations to Senior Management, to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts at program/enterprise level.
- Leads the development of processes and procedures using advanced industrial engineering principles, theories, and concepts to address the development, implementation, maintenance, and status of integrated shop operating plans at a program/enterprise level.
- Acts as a consultant to top-level management in the development and support of long range business performance metrics by analyzing data in order to recommend plan of action.
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
- 13+ years of experience documenting and presenting analytical results
- Ability to walk, stand, and enter into aircraft via steps or ladders
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22. C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Typical Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- Bachelors or Masters degree in any of the following: Aeronautics, Business Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Economics, Finance, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management or Technical Management.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Applications.
- Business processes experience.
- Experience in 6 or more of the following: Process Management, Process Measurement, Performance Metrics, Root Cause Analysis, Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Operations (Support), Business Case Analysis, Forecast, Resource Scheduling, Operating Plans, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
- Ability to interact with employees to gather data for process improvements. This may include observing and documenting processes, and collecting data in manufacturing areas or in aircraft during various production phases.
- Candidate may be in proximity to chemicals when observing/gathering data in an area in the factory where chemicals are in use.
