Job Description

The Sony Pictures Entertainment Internship program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. These seasonal, paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that allow you to build your resume, experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, valuable networking opportunities, and many educational and social opportunities while on the lot. This Spring Internship is from January through end of May and all candidates must be able to work between 15-29 hours a week (flexible based on school schedule).

The Consumer Products Sales and Licensing department for Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! is a small team looking for an intern who is passionate about consumer products as well as a driven passion for licensing and sales. The team oversees all product and licensing development for Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primarily project-based and focusing on real time deadlines
• The intern will be responsible for Media Box submissions for product development
• Pitch decks for licensing; research of areas in which we are licensing
• There may be copying, filing, and organizing of consumer products

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent computer skills
• Able to multi-task
• Attention to detail,
• Can-do attitude
• Ability to wear multiple hats and manage multiple projects
• Prior licensing or consumer products experience
• Start up or entertainment experience preferred
• Experience in consumer good design and toy design
• Interested in learning about licensing, consumer products and product development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergrad student studying relevant field
