Sales Associate

Equifax Employee Benefits Services is seeking a Sales Associate. This role’s primary responsibility is to assist the regional sales directors, strategic partner directors & business development directors in acquiring, retaining and developing clients. This is accomplished by supporting the sales acquisition and distribution individuals in the following areas: lead generation follow up, account maintenance/client configuration requests, assist in completing requests for proposals, partnering with sales via telephone /web-based meetings/presentations to uncover client needs and offer EBS solutions, providing reports, and gathering the voice of the customer. The Sales Associate must be willing to learn and become familiar with internal systems and reporting tools. This effort provides assistance quickly and accurately which effectively improves managing operational processes, facilitates new client onboarding, and builds strategic relationships with prospects and existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Garner and maintain a thorough understanding of Equifax Employer Benefits Solutions as well as a general understanding of the enterprises products and services overall solutions in order to provide a high level of support to new, existing, internal and external clients
  • Lead internal processes for prospects -- RFI/RFP, contracting, lead generation follow up, pipeline maintenance and reporting
  • Support Regional Sales, Strategic Partner & Business Development Directors by providing overall sales operational project management expertise.
  • As a subject matter expert, perform sales demos and client trainings when RSDs are unavailable
  • Effectively partner with internal customers - product, IT, security and legal to deliver a seamless experience to prospects and newly acquired clients.
  • Receive and respond to prospect telephone calls, emails and written requests; act as a liaison between prospects and appropriate internal departments to serve the client when RSDs are unavailable
  • Review and resolve compliance, contracting, commission and other issues with clients and appropriate internal departments
  • Gather Voice of Client (VOC) feedback for key marketing, pricing and product initiatives
  • Attend client meetings with RSDs, SPDs & BDDs as necessary
  • Become familiar with business intelligence tools to provide client activity analysis & help ensure sales pipeline integrity and accurate reporting
  • Participate in additional ad-hoc initiatives as assigned

What makes you a good fit for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, a related field or equivalent job experience (ex. 4+ years in an account management or sales support)
  • 5-7 years of B2B and/or B2B2C experience
  • Employee benefits experience a plus
  • The ability to prioritize multiple work projects and function independently from supervision to meet deadlines
  • Well formulated, grammatically correct written and verbal correspondence
  • Understanding and practical application of various software applications, such as MS Office, G-Suite and Salesforce
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills and critical thinking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude
  • 30% travel
