Job summary

The Red Hat Engineering Program Management team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding the definition and adoption of innovative software development and delivery practices. You'll develop and nurture key relationships with program management, project management, and DevOps leadership across Red Hat's portfolio of offerings, processes, and tools to identify, prioritize, refine and optimize improvements. As a Senior Program Manager, you’ll need to have the ability to navigate complex systems and communicate effectively across organizational boundaries.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple parallel improvement efforts
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize process improvements
  • Develop and enhance change management workflows to propagate changes across offerings
  • Convene cross-functional meetings as needed to align process and tooling needs across groups
  • Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability for cross-functional teams

Required skills

  • Excellent risk and change management skills
  • Ability to analyze, design and articulate complex workflows
  • Outstanding written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience delivering technology-related services or offerings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple countries and time zones
  • Proven ability to bring different groups of people together to collaborate in a community setting
  • Mastery of different project management methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems
  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Scaled Agile Framework SAFe, or other agile certifications are a plus
