Job Summary

This is an exciting internship opportunity in Dell-EMC Engineering Program Management organization. Our team manages highly complex HW Engineering programs, projects and initiatives affecting area goals and objectives. Drives the creation and management of cross-functional leadership teams located both in China and in the US. Oversees cross-functional teams, defining priorities and insuring allocation of resources. Maintains an awareness of industry trends and business conditions. The candidate will daily work with program managers located in Shanghai for the Dell-EMC product delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work under the direction of a Sr. Program Manager and within general project management practices to support the engineering development team in various activities, including:
  • Assisting Program Manager on Project budget tracking
  • Assisting Program Manager with tasks related to Logic, Power, Package, Cooling or firmware development
  • Assisting Program Manager on materials management, work scope will include but not limit to materials ordering, shipping tracking, in house materials tracking
  • Supporting Program Manager on the document management, work scope will include but not limit to initialize the Change Request in PLM, drive the JIRA closure, package the FW bundle

Candidate Requirements

• College student in Engineering/ Business, master is preferred
• Previous PM (or relevant) experience is preferred
• Fast leaner and good team player
• Self-directed and motivated
• Passion for analytics, detailed oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
