Job Description

The Banker in this job is meant to be the prime contact point in the bank for his/her multinational corporate client portfolio, with a focus on the Client Desk portfolio.
Ensure high level of customer satisfaction, while being also responsible for reaching the revenue goals on the portfolio by increasing our wallet share and by new client acquisition. The main format of client interaction is over the phone, but in-person meetings are applicable too, especially for revers enquiries and for prospect meetings
Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop customer relationships. Deal with customer’s key financial decision makers (CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Managers).
  • Handle a large number of clients with vanilla to medium complex banking needs.
  • New client acquisition
  • Frequent interaction with peers within Citi (locally and globally) and occasionally with senior management at country/cluster level.
  • Must fully adhere to Citi’s Credit , Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operational etc. policies.
  • Complete all tasks in connection with the organization’s activity but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head.

Skills:

  • Native Hungarian
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • High level interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and good presentation skills
  • Must have good selling skills and be highly creative, initiative and flexible
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Pay attention to details, set priorities and work under pressure
  • At least basic credit skills, exposure to credit analysis

  • Structured and analytical mind-set, able to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to influence without hierarchical authority

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years experience in banking relationship management
  • Good knowledge of market, customers, competition, local regulations, loan products, FX, cash management and trade products are needed.
  • Sound knowledge of local corporate banking market, customers, competition, regulation etc.
  • Capable to smoothly conduct client interactions, negotiations, can lead high-level meetings with clients, internal Citi partners, peers, senior management
  • “Partnership” approach in working with internal and external counterparts

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
