We are seeking a Strategic Deterrence Systems Marketing & Sales Representative to lead the effort in increasing sales of the ICBM Sustainment and GBSD portfolios and enhancing Boeing’s relationship with its USAF customer based at Hill AFB in Utah.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and capture of new business campaigns/opportunities to achieve business growth targets
- Protect current/core business portfolio through unparalleled customer understanding and service
- Lead efforts to develop and nurture customer relationships
- Utilize an in-depth understanding of the Department of Defense Acquisition Process
- Operate effectively across multiple internal and external disciplines including engineering, supplier management, global support, field marketing, and business operations
- Lead advocacy and customer engagement with BDS leaders to assure that we understand customer requirements.
- Develop campaign strategies, marketing plans, and manage New Business Funds to increase the sales for the portfolio.
- Leverage resources and knowledge of Boeing products, services, processes and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth.
- Create, maintain and advance customer relationships to become a trusted business partner with the USAF.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of customer business, culture, requirements and related topics to shape emerging customer requirements and gain competitive advantage.
- Interface with customers and internal Boeing resources to keep all parties apprised of key issues.
- Provide business case analysis, develop and obtain authorization to proceed with customer solutions.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of experience with the USAF or Government acquisition
- 10 or more years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
- Working knowledge of the DOD budgeting, acquisition and requirements development processes
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% domestically
- Willing and able to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master's degree
- Previous Capture/Campaign team leadership experience
- Experience working within a strategic partnership
- Current US Secret Security Clearance
- Familiarity with the Military Forms, Directives, and Instructions.
Typical Education/Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
